Alice in Wonderland garden theme. The wings are supposed to represent the deck of cards. The maze is for the maze garden, and the arrow is a one of the symbols represented in the movie.

Good idea of picking a theme but not sure it reflects Alice in wonderland, I get the hearts and clubs, but does that go far enough? – Why the Arrow – It probably needs to be better integrated – It looks like it is sitting on top of the gradient image, the curve makes it a bit 2D ish, I would suggest a flatter color. Play with the color – the idea of it being the back section of the wings – the use of the hearts and clubs. The ladybugs general shape is good but the legs are a bit blobby, it is their actual shape. The arrow as a maze good – not sure about the direction of the arrow – she goes down the rabbit hole. You have some excellent ideas, and lots of the and it is truly hard to visualize them all. Thanks for the hard work
ReplyDeleteImage and Word – vintage bottle – this is a great little image – but the spray is not necessary, as the others suggested it is a bit too heavy, you can not recognize the spray, the shape overpowers the delicacy of the bottle image. The bottle alone does look like the essence of a lady bug. Great attention to detail and the integration of the words on top make a great top that does not take away from the illustration.
Letter: Excellent job – using the dots as the part of the lady bug. Very simple elegant. The color works. You used the shape of the letter to get the dots in line works! It is very lady-like!
WOrd: The A works well and the spacing between the letters IS PERFECT!. Simple design, the color of the dots need not be just flat black, and the detail of the antennae is odd – The dots on the top of the antennae could be a different color.
